Danville, KY - Centre College Track & Field and Women’s Soccer athletes show off custom designs by M+H Beads as part of an NIL deal. Women’s Soccer senior, Emma Bryant is also the director of recruitment for her sorority, Kappa Alpha Theta and Track & Feild’s Lauren Wright is a Tri-Delta with an eye for photography.

“Both are active in their sororities and athletics, giving them a wide reach across campus through their connections and social media. We were thrilled we could make this connection,” said Kate Anderson, co-founder of The 1926 Collective. “Our goal is to put businesses in touch with the right student-athletes to help promote their brand. It has to be a good fit for these deals to be successful.

Once the players were identified and interested in the products, they were introduced to Sarah Miller Dougherty, Centre Alumn and owner of M+H Beads. “All of my pieces are one-of-a-kind, so I wanted to make sure the pieces were a reflection of these women - something they’d be proud to wear and show off to friends. I met with them to get an idea of their style and what they liked and then got to work.”

Dougherty made each piece custom and mailed them to Bryant and Wright who showed each piece off via their social media accounts tagging M+H in each post.

“I immediately saw a bump in my social following and website traffic,” Dougherty texted The 1926 Collective. “I’ve had a ton of success in Lexington, but reaching this younger audience is a priority as I grow my brand. Plus, I had a ball with EJ and Lauren - they both have such a unique style and getting to make that connection back to Centre Students made the whole process that much better.”
