Centre Women's Basketball Player Bailey Rucker Scores NIL Deal

Danville, KY- Bailey Rucker, a junior guard on the Centre women's basketball team, has secured her first Name, Image, and Likeness (NIL) deal with Finn's Ice Cream, thanks to the strategic efforts of The 1926 Collective.

As the first NIL deal at Centre College with a women’s basketball player, this partnership marks a significant milestone for both Bailey Rucker and the evolving landscape of Division III collegiate athletics.

Jamie and Christy Durham own Finn's Ice Cream, a recently opened local establishment located just outside of Centre College’s campus, and Centre Field Lofts, newly renovated apartments available for short-term rent located above Finn’s Ice Cream. Their latest NIL deal recognizes Rucker's talents both on and off the court, which include a recurring role on a Kentucky sports talk radio show, making her a great partner for their brand.

The 1926 Collective, a groundbreaking player in the NIL advisory space, orchestrated the collaboration between Rucker and Finn's Ice Cream/Centre Field Lofts, showcasing their commitment to empowering female student-athletes in navigating the new era of NIL opportunities.

"We are thrilled to welcome Bailey Rucker to the Finn's Ice Cream and Centre Field Lofts family," said Jamie Durham. "We look forward to a successful partnership that goes beyond the court."

Bailey Rucker, from Catlettsburg, Ky, expressed her excitement about this venture. "I am delighted to represent Finn's Ice Cream and Centre Field Lofts and grateful for the support of The 1926 Collective in making this opportunity a reality."

According to representatives from The 1926 Collective, “As the NIL landscape continues to evolve, Bailey Rucker's deal with Finn's Ice Cream stands as a testament to the power of business engagement with student athletes. But this is not just about Bailey and Finn’s Ice Cream; it's about opening doors for future female student-athletes and embracing the possibilities of NIL.”
